The Zumwalt-class guided-missile destroyer was developed by the United States Navy with an advanced stealth design and powerful ground-fire capability. The full-load displacement of this class is 14,000 tons or more -- larger than that of the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser -- and the hull adopts a tumblehome shape for improved stealth; the conventional mast has been abolished. It uses an integrated electric propulsion system (IPS), and it's armed with two 155mm advanced gun systems (AGS), ESSM, SM-2SM-3 and Tomahawk. It has a helicopter vault and deck at the rear of the hull, is capable of operating the MH-60R Seahawk and the MQ-8 unmanned aerial vehicle, and houses a high-speed rigid inflatable boat (RHIB) under the helicopter landing deck at the stern.
